Shaheen has played five ODIs and seven T20 Internationals for Pakistan and he has a chance to make a Test debut. Besides Shaheen, Saad Ali has also been included in the 15-member squad, while Fakhar Zaman and Shadab Khan, who made their debut in the last month, have been excluded from the team.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has included young fast bowler Shaheen Afridi for the first time in the first two matches of the three-match Test series against New Zealand, in the Test team for the first time. Shahin has played five ODIs and seven T20 Internationals for Pakistan and he has a chance to make a Test debut. 18-year-old Shahin has so far taken eight wickets in the first two matches of the ODI series against New Zealand. According to Crickbus report, the first Test between Pakistan and New Zealand will be played in Abu Dhabi from November 16. The second Test will be played from November 24 and the third on December 3.
