India beat the West Indies by one innings and 272 runs in 1st Test. This is the biggest victory of the Indian Test team.

The match played at Rajkot ended on the third day. During the entire match, the Indian team dominated every game. The Indian team omitted the visiting team twice in less than 100 overs. The West Indies team lost 14 wickets on the third day.

In the Rajkot Test, the Indian team needed to bat only in an innings, in which they scored 649 runs. In reply, the West Indies were all out for 181 in the first innings and 196 runs in the second innings.

Record made in the biggest win

In terms of difference, it is the biggest test victory of the Indian team in the history of cricket. Earlier, India had won its biggest win in June this year, when it defeated Afghanistan by an innings and 262 runs in Bengaluru.

In the first innings off-spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin took four wickets in his ninth over. With this, he broke the record of Harbhajan Singh, who took four wickets in an innings. He has taken four wickets in 42 times and is now just behind Anil Kumble (66).
The second innings was named after Kuldeep Yadav, who sent five batsmen to the pavilion. After the South African bowler Paul Adams, he is the second such champion bowler, who has taken five wickets in a Test inning. This is Kuldeep’s best performance ever in Test cricket.
