India Test squad for West Indies Series 2018: Dhawan dropped, Virat Kohli To Lead India

 

Dhawan dropped for the two-match Test series against West Indies

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) issued a statement on Saturday and announced the team. Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar has been rested. Shikhar Dhawan and Dinesh Karthik have not even got a place in the team. In the form of Rishabh Pant, the only wicketkeeper has been selected in the team.

Mayank Agarwal, who has consistently performed well in domestic cricket, has finally been included in the Indian Test team. The first match of the series will be played between four to eight October at Saurashtra Cricket Stadium of Rajkot while the second match will be played in Hyderabad from October 12 to 16.

Schedule of the Test series

This time, two Tests, five ODIs and three T20 matches will be played on the West Indies tour of India. The tour will start from the Test series. The first test is to be played in Rajkot from October 4th after India and the West Indies. The 2nd Test will be played in Hyderabad from October 12. ODI Series Schedule

The first match of the five ODIs between the two teams will be played in Guwahati on October 21, the second match will be played in Indore on October 24, Pune on October 27, the fourth match will be played on 29 October, while the final match will be played in Thiruvananthapuram on 1 November.

T-20 Series Schedule

The final series of the tour will be T20. The first match will be played in Kolkata on November 4, in Lucknow on November 6 in Lucknow and the last match on 11 November in Chennai.
