ICC T20 World Cup 2020 Schedule

The ICC has issued a schedule for the seventh Men’s T-20 World Cup to be played in Australia in 2020. Know the full schedule of this tournament.

The ICC has issued the Schedule of the seventh Men’s T-20 World Cup to be played in Australia next year i.e. 2020. This tournament will be played in Australia for the first time. The tournament will be played from October 18 to November 15, 2020, and it will last five weeks. Australia will play the opening match on Saturday 24 October against the world’s No 1 T20 team Pakistan. India’s first match will be from South Africa on October 24 and it will be played at Perth Stadium.

The qualifiers will be played from October 18 to 23 in this World Cup. Super-12 matches will be held after this. ICC said that with the hosts, nine other teams have got direct entry into this tournament. The tournament will be played on Australia’s 13th venues.

India will play the first match on October 24 in Perth, while the tournament will start from October 18 when qualifying matches will be played. The last time India lost in the semifinals from the West Indies in 2016, they will play in the next Super 12 match on October 29 with a qualifier. Men’s T20 World Cup will be played from 18 Ocober  to 15 Nov. In the first match, host Australia will face Pakistan on 24th October, the world’s number one team in Sydney.

Group One will have Australia, Pakistan, West Indies, New Zealand, and two qualifiers while the other group will have India, England, South Africa, Afghanistan, and two qualifiers. The first semifinal will be played on SCG on 11th November and the second day on the Adelaide Oval. The final will be on MCG on 15th November. The tournament program is as follows.
